![]() ![]() Edit the address CCCCCCCC and add another offset (5C) with the address (EEEEEEEE) Found an address EEEEEEEE with value DDDDDDDD Now when I edit the pointer (CCCCCCCC) it also edits (AAAAAAAA) which means I am doing it correctly, but when I move onto the next step: Found an address CCCCCCCC with value BBBBBBBB Scan multiple times until I reach the ammo address (e.g. ![]() Now when I try to find a pointer to that pointer, whose offset is (5C) and then try to add an offset to the address previously added, it shows that the address is "0000002BC = ?" and not "xxxxxxxx = 30", there are no other possible addresses nor offsets that work or returns 30 as the ammo count. I search for the probable address (xxxxxxxx) and manually add it, using the offset (2BC) and the address with the probable value, it shows the address as "xxxxxxxx = 30" the ammo count which is 30, when I edit that and freeze it, it also edits and freezes the default ammo value I try to find what accesses that value, and I get an offset and an address to search for the offset is constant (2BC) (e.g.: when I switch to pistol it shows (6) as the ammo of the pistol, when I switch to Assault Rifle it shows 30 as the ammo of the pistol, etc.)Ģ- Address that contains the ammo value for the weapon I searched for Assault Rifle (30) However, when I reach the AR Ammo, there are 2 addressesġ- Address that contains ammo value for all weapons Simply, what I am trying to do is to find the value of Assault Rifle Ammo (AR Ammo) then find its Pointer (P) and find the pointer of the first pointer (P-P) if there are any. I am having a problem trying to cheat in Metro Last Light using Cheat Engine, the reason basically lies behind the scan and use of pointers of the game, it is complicated (at least for me, since I am new to using CE) ![]()
